CLAT 2024: The Consortium of National Law Universities on Monday announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 will be held in December 2023. The registration form will be available soon on the official website — nlus.ac.in consortium.
According to the official notification released by the Consortium of National Law Universities, CLAT 2024 will be conducted for admissions to integrated degree, LLB (Hons) and LLM programs commencing in the academic year 2024-2025. The entrance test will be held at the 22 participating National Law Universities (NLU).
The CNLU also clarified that law aspirants who failed to get a seat in their preferred college after CLAT 2022, can now reappear in CLAT 2023. “Candidates who failed to get admission in their preferred institution in through CLAT 2022 held in June 2022 are eligible to reappear for CLAT 2023 after completing fresh registration,” the official notification said.
Also, aspirants appearing for Class 12 exams in May 2023 can also apply for CLAT 2023.
The consortium is currently conducting the registration process for CLAT 2023, which is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2022. Interested candidates have until November 13 to apply for the CLAT 2023 exam. The entrance test will only take place once during the academic year. “No additional, second or any other CLAT examination will be conducted for admissions to programs commencing in the academic year 2023-2024,” the notification clarifies.
