CUET UG 2022 results: Universities that admit candidates to degree programs based on their performance in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) are expected to start the new academic year for first-year students in the last week of October or in the first week of November, according to UGC chairman M Jagadesh. Kumar told The Indian Express.
DU on Monday launched its common seat allotment system for candidates to register for admission through Common College Entrance Test (CUET) results. The university has not released a date sheet or timetable for the three-phase admission process through this system, but aims to close registrations on October 3 and conduct the first round of seat allotment before October 10 to 12. While Singh expects at least four rounds of allocations, he said The Indian Express that the university will begin the semester for first-year students on November 1, even if the assignment rounds continue to be held.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET results today. Students, advises Kumar, should now start checking the admission portals or official websites of the universities they want to apply for admission for more information. NTA or UGC will not conduct any common counseling for all participating universities. Each college will prepare its own merit lists based on CUET results and admit students accordingly.
“For complaints related to results, students can write to NTA. For complaints related to admissions, students should first write to the University where they have applied. If the problem is not resolved, students can file their complaint on UGC’s E-Samadhan portal for redressal,” Kumar added.
