Delhi University on Saturday issued anti-ragging guidelines notifying the steps being taken to ensure safe induction and study experience of the new batch. In this regard, the university will also set up two joint control rooms in the north and south campus from November 2 to 11.
Anti hazing posters in Hindi and English will be put up at various places in the campus and colleges as well as police pickets will be placed outside each DU college with special assistance to be provided to women’s colleges.
The university has also directed all the colleges to check the entry of foreigners as well as form a disciplinary and anti-ragging committee with the help of NCC and NSS students.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has ensured that plainclothes policewomen will be deployed in the college and outside the premises of each college. If any student is found guilty they will be suspended/expelled from the university
