NTA conducted the first common entrance test for undergraduate admission to universities between July 16 and August 30. A new trial was held on September 11 to consider the complaints of individual students. The provisional answer key was released on 8th September. Candidates had time till 17:00 on 10 September to challenge the answer key.
CUET recorded 76.48 percent attendance during the first phase of the examination held between July 15 and 20. In both the bands, Uttar Pradesh had maximum number of candidates (52,885) with 125 examination centers followed by West Bengal (10,744) with 35 examination centers. . Total attendance at all centers across the country is estimated at 60 percent.
The entrance exam was held in 547 cities in India and 13 cities outside India: Sri Lanka, Qatar, Doha, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and Singapore.
