DU Admissions 2022: Delhi University Adds ‘Mock Rankings’ Feature to Candidate Dashboard

DU admissions 2022: Delhi University (DU) has today added another feature called ‘Mock Ranks’ to the candidate board. This feature will help the candidates to calculate their provisional ranks which are determined by the preferences submitted by the candidates (up to October 13).

“Through this facility, candidates will be able to assess the likelihood of allocations in a particular program and college. Subsequently, candidates will have a two-day ‘preference change window’ from 5 p.m. hours on October 14 to 4:59 pm on October 16,” the official notification said.

Candidates must ensure that any changes they have made have been saved. Aspirants will have to go to the CSAS link and then sort their preferences. Once they have sequenced their preferences, they must save the changes in order to see their updated preferences.

The last saved preferences will be automatically locked on October 16th at 16:59 and will become the basis for determining allocation lists.

According to the official notification, “simulated ranks should in no way be construed as a guarantee, express or implied, or the creation of a legitimate hope, for admission or final classifications and/or program assignments d ‘studies or university in no way”.

Delhi University first merit list will be released on 18th October and candidates can accept allotment till 5:00 PM on 21st October. After that document verification will end on 22nd October and candidates will have time till 24th October 5:00 PM to make the payment. The academic session is scheduled to begin on November 2.
