DU admissions 2022: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will not apply to vocational and technical training programs and short-term certificate courses offered by the Campus of Open Learning (COL) (formerly known as the School of Open Learning ) from Delhi University.
“For the session 2022-’23, COL was receiving queries about the applicability of CUET for admission to short courses, but the same is not applicable,” said Uma Shankar Pande, professor, COL.
COL offers 25 courses and admissions are currently open. These programs will be delivered online and offline, or a combination of both. Courses are delivered in collaboration with industry partners such as Bird Academy, MT Forum and RK Education Group. The duration of the programs ranges from 1.5 months to 10 months.
Programs that do not require the CUET score as an admission criterion are:
Travel and Tourism; Air ticket and tickets; Airport management; Computerized reservation system; Medical transcription; Data Science and Machine Learning; Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity; Financial markets; Electronic and Office accounting; Personality development and soft skills; Shorthand and computer skills; Digital marketing and advertising in social networks; Animation and motion graphics; Filmmaking, direction and script; Photography (photo and video); Mass communication and digital media productions; Radio Jockeying, Anchoring and Television Journalism; Graphic design and video editing; Interior design and CAD; Acting and fashion modeling; Fashion design; Event management and public relations; Web design; 3D animation and video editing; Fine arts and digital arts.
The deadline for submitting applications is September 30. Classes are expected to begin in October.
