FMGE 2022: NBE postpones exam to January 20

FMGE 2022: The National Board of Education (NBE) has today postponed the December examination of the Foreign Graduate Medical Examination (FMGE). The revised exam date is now available on the NBE official website:

According to the revised schedule, the FMGE 2022 exam will now be held on 20 January 2023. Earlier, the exam was scheduled on 4 December 2022.

This decision was taken due to the clash of dates with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. “In accordance with the announcement of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections by the State Election Commission of Delhi to be held on 4th December 2022, it has been decided to reschedule the holding of the FMGE December 2022 now on January 20, 2023,” the official notification said.

In addition to this, the board has also extended the deadline for uploading deficient documents such as proof of possession of primary medical qualification, primary medical qualification certificate from concerned Indian embassy/postilla, eligibility certificate / letter of admission, proof of identity of citizenship and more. The new deadline for the same is December 15, 2022. Deficient documents can only be submitted through an online deficient document submission portal.

NBE will also publish on its website a list of candidates who do not rectify the deficiencies in their documents by December 15 and will now open an online window from December 24 to 30. They will be given one last chance to submit documents that are deficient. in application No further chance will be given after that. Applicants who do not rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date set (ie December 30) for amendment will be declared ineligible.

Also, candidates can access the demo test provisionally from 10th January 2023. Admit cards for FMGE December 2022 are expected to be released on 13th January and the result is expected on 10th of February 2023.
