Haryana CET Exam Candidates to Get Free State Highway Pickup

A family member traveling with female candidates can also avail this free travel facility. They will have to show their identity documents.

The Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be conducted for recruitment to Group C posts, he said.

13,700 buses have been made available on the roads of Haryana to ensure a hassle-free journey for the candidates.

Almost all regular route buses will be used to provide this facility, he said, adding that people have been appealed to use public transport less on the days when the exam is scheduled.

About 11.36 lakh candidates are likely to appear in the CET exam.

At the district level, pickup and drop arrangements will be made for the candidates from the sub-divisional bus stand or the district bus stand to the examination centres, he said.

All such travel arrangement will be closely monitored by a committee constituted under the additional deputy commissioner of the district, he said.

In both the shifts of the exams, the candidates are expected to reach the nearest bus stops of the respective exam centers.

The report for the morning shift at the exam center is at 8.30 am and for the evening shift is at 1.30 pm, he said.

Instructions have been issued to all the General Managers to ensure advance booking arrangements at the bus stands of the depots/sub-depots, he said.

All the candidates are requested to make advance bookings by visiting their nearest depot or sub warehouse from 9 am on 3rd November which will remain till 5 pm on 4th November so that they do not face any inconvenience on the day of the exam.
