IIT Mandi introduces five new courses for skill development of Himachali youth

Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi today launched skill development through its Center for Continuing Education (CCE) in association with Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN). Interested candidates can apply to– iitmandi.ac.in

IIT Mandi will launch five short courses to help the youth of Himachal Pradesh with real life practical engineering problems and make them employable and job ready. The courses will last for one month and registrations for the courses have already started.

The institute will provide free food, accommodation and didactic material to people who sign up for the course. The five new courses are:
– Embedded systems
— Predictive Control Model for Industrial Systems
— Computational fluid dynamics
— Modeling of finite elements for engineering
— Product design and manufacture

The above course will help you develop skills for automation and other jobs under PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana). A certificate of participation from the Center for Continuing Education, IIT Mandi will also be issued to all participants on successful completion of the course.

The course is open to Computer Engineers, Graduates, Engineering Students, Practicing / Working Engineers, Post Graduate & Ph.D. Students, Professors / Faculty Members of Technical Institutions of Himachal Pradesh who want to excel in their scientific research activities and engineering.
