MHT CET 2022: Counseling begins at cetcell.mahacet.org; check eligibility, schedule

MHT CET 2022 advice: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has today started the counseling process for MHT CET 2022. Candidates can now find the counseling application link and other details on the official website of MHT CET: cetcell.mahacet.org.

As of now, the state CET cell has started admissions for BE/BTech (four years) and Masters in Engineering (five years integrated) courses.

Candidates have time till 4:00 PM on 4th October to register for counseling and till 6:00 PM on the same date for document verification.

Eligibility criteria

Candidate must be Indian Nationality. They should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics com
compulsory subjects together with one of the subjects of Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Vocational Technique or Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Practices or Agriculture or Graphic Engineering or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship. In addition to this, candidates should have secured at least 45 per cent marks in the above subjects (and 40 per cent in case of some reserved categories) combined and should have secured a positive score other than zero in JEE Main (BE/B.Tech). ) or the candidate should have cleared all the subjects in MHT-CET 2022 and should have scored non-zero in MHT-CET 2022.

However, candidates should remember that the candidate securing non-zero positive score in JEE Main (BE/B.Tech) will be given preference over candidates who have secured non-zero score in MHT-CET 2022.

Another eligibility criterion as an alternative is that interested candidates have passed a minimum of three years of Diploma in Engineering and Technology and have obtained at least 45 percent marks (and 40 percent in the case of some categories reserved).

Candidates who have registered for MHT-CET 2022 need not pay any fee to register for admission. However, other candidates who have scored valid for admission in the academic year 2022-23 in JEE (Main) and have not registered for MHT-CET 2022 have to pay the non-refundable fees of Rs.800 (Rs. 600 for reserved categories). ).

The provisional list will be exposed on October 7, followed by the final merit list on October 12. The first round of the CAP will begin on October 13 and conclude on October 21.
