The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the revised schedule for the Formative Assessment Test (FAT) on Thursday. The new schedule is now available for interested students on the NBE official website: natboard.edu.in.
According to the new schedule, the FAT theory exam will now be held on December 10, 2022. The exam will be held in two sessions and the mode will be descriptive (pencil and paper).
For the December exam, the application portal has been launched today (i.e. 21st October) and aspirants will have time till 10th November to fill the application form in line FAT exam fees this time is Rs 6000.
The Admit Card is scheduled to be released on 2nd December and the Job Based Clinical Assessment will be conducted in January/February 2023.
FAT is conducted only for admission to Post Diploma, Scholarship and Diploma trainees of 2021 intake session. “NBEMS will conduct this FAT only for 2021 intake session for Post trainees -diploma, scholarships and diploma and no other students will be included in this examination,” the official notification said.
