NEET PG 2022 Counselling: The Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) has today extended the deadline for filling and blocking options until November 16. Candidates can now complete the process by visiting the official MCC website: mcc.nic.in.
“In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Contempt Petition No. 671 of 2022 (Dy. No. 35224/2022), all States and Union Territories are required to complete the second round of state advisory before 6:00 pm on November 16, 2022 and submit the data on the same day to the Medical Advisory Commission for the purpose of uploading the data,” the official notification said.
“Therefore, the competent authority has decided to reopen the choice filling for the Mop Up round of PG Counseling 2022,” the notification added.
As per the new schedule, candidates now have time till 5:00 PM on November 16 to complete the election process. The pick lock process will take place from 14:00 on 16 November to 17:00 on 16 November.
Candidates who wish to edit their choices can do so after exercising the “Choice Unlock” option.
This extension comes a few days after the Supreme Court ordered all states and union territories to complete the second round of NEET PG counseling by November 16 at 6 pm. This order was passed by a bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Hima Kohli, LiveLaw reports.
