NEET PG 2022 Counselling: The Supreme Court today directed all states and union territories to complete the second round of NEET PG counseling by November 16 at 6 PM.
“In order to ensure the finality of the NEET PG counseling process, we direct all the states and union territories to complete the second round of counseling by 6:00 PM on 16 November 2022 and submit the on the same day at the MCC,” said Suprem. The court has ordered.
This order was passed by a bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Hima Kohli, LiveLaw has reported.
The bench further added that the counseling for the clearing round will be conducted by the competent authority after the completion of the second round of counselling.
He directed Maharashtra to conduct a state-wide cleaning round only after the AIQ cleaning round is over. The order was passed on a contempt petition highlighting complaints from Karnataka and Bihar, where the clearing rounds are already underway while the second round of counseling is yet to be completed.
