NEET UG 2022 Counselling: MCC extends report submission deadline; check the new schedule

NEET UG 2022 Counselling: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has today extended the deadline for submission of reports for the National Eligibility Test (NEET) 2022 UG Counseling Round 1.

Candidates now have time till 4:00 PM on October 29 to report to their allotted colleges. Earlier, medical aspirants had until today (October 8) to report. However, the MCC is receiving requests and representations from participating students and colleges to extend the reporting time. Thus, the commission decided to extend the deadline for submitting reports.

In addition to this, the commission has also announced that candidates can resign from the Round 1 seat until 5:00 PM on November 1. After this deadline, candidates will be considered as part of Round 2 and the same rules will apply as for Round 2. 2 of advice.

“Candidates are advised to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online (through the portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as “Null and Null la”. In this case, the candidate will be considered as still holding the seat and the rules of round 2 will apply. Any letter other than the Resignation Letter generated through the online portal will not be considered as “Resignation Letter” . In case the candidate resigns by emailing the university, he/she should ensure that he/she receives a resignation letter generated through the MCC online portal,” the official MCC notification said.
