CLAT 2023: The registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 has been extended to November 18. The application process started on 8th August 2022. Candidates can fill the online application form at nlus.ac.in consortium.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode on 18th December 2022. Candidates who have passed class 12 or appearing for board exam can apply for UG-CLAT 2022, while candidates who have completed LLB or are in the final year of the LLB program can apply for CLAT LLM.
CLAT 2023: Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: On the home page, click on the “click here” link.
Step 3: Click the “Register” button at the bottom of the login window
Step 4: Register with details, verify
Step 5: Fill the form, upload images and submit the form
In a first session, the consortium had scheduled two tests in 2022. The first session was held in May. The consortium has also reduced the counseling fee from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000 for unreserved category candidates. For reserved category students, the fee will be Rs 20,000.
There are total 120 questions for PG exam and 150 questions for UG. There are 5 sections in CLAT which are: Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. A mark is awarded for a correct answer and 0.25 is deducted for an incorrect answer.
