At the request of the Government of India, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Uzbekistan Medical Higher Education Institutes (MHEIs) are offering 2,000 places to transfer Indian medical students from Ukraine, accepting the MCI and NMC norms of the ‘above (Screening Test Rules 2002) and (Foreign Regulations). Degree in Medicine – FMGL Regulations 2021).
According to the press release, the education will be offered at an affordable budget by providing a study and a stay at a place with Indian food. Uzbekistan will offer two undergraduate medical programs to Indian students: 6 years PhD diploma and 5+1 years MBBS degree with one year internship.
To prepare students for FMGE/NEXT examination, the university has a large modern infrastructure, a large number of teaching beds in associated government hospitals and clinics and 30% Indian and international faculty with additional training.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov presented the provisional admission letters to the students who successfully passed the interview session conducted by the Higher Medical Institutes of the Government of Uzbekistan such as Bukhar State Medical Institute and Tashkent Medical Academy, who approved the interview sessions.
